In Loving Memory of Your Animals

Greetings and wishing you a Happy New Year!  I have selected a non-profit organization named Flurry’s Hope to receive a donation in memory of your beloved animals that have made their transition.  Flurry’s Hope is located in North Carolina and provides loving care to blind horses that would otherwise have no place to live.  My blog readers have written beautiful statements to memorialize 32 (and counting)  of their deceased pets thus far.  I had hoped for more comments but I realize that this is a busy season and not everyone has the time to write.  First and foremost, this is the Season of Giving.  Thus, I will still send a check to Flurry’s Hope in the amount of $500.  My last blog made reference to the fact that influence is the most powerful currency.  This has been demonstrated already as two of my readers notified me that they are contributing an additional $200 to Flurry’s Hope for a total contribution of $700.  Please continue to post your memories of departed animals that have influenced your life in a special way.  The comments that people have made so far have really touched my heart.  Even today, these animals continue to make valuable contributions to our lives; just ask the blind horses at Flurry’s Hope!

I wish everyone a Blessed and Happy New Year.  It is still the season of light so let your own light shine brightly.  Thank you all for being a part of my life!

Dear Ms. Salinas,

On behalf of Flurry's Hope, I would like to thank you for your generous gift of $500.00 on December 23, 2014.  We appreciate your thoughtfulness in helping provide and care for our precious blind horses. Our Tax Identification number is 38-3789845.

Our motto is "Disability is not Inability"  and we ride these horses.  We are trying to build an arena so that we may offer therapeutic riding to the community in a safe environment.  We also hope to offer a therapy program to veterans in the near future.  There is a profound sense of peace at Flurry's Hope and we want to share that with as many others as we can.  With the help of donations from supporters such as you we will continue to see improvements in rescuing blind horses from euthanasia and slaughter and providing various therapy services to needy humans.

Thanks again for your generous support of our efforts and please contact us if you would like to visit the horses of Flurry's Hope.

Best wishes,

Suzanne Hennes VP, Flurry's Hope
