ANNOUNCING THE NEW TRUE CONNECTION FAMILY
True Connection Horse Academy is the decades-long culmination of my journey to find connection with horses on the deepest, most fulfilling level possible. Along the way, I relied on the wisdom of great mentors to lead me, my intuition to guide me, and the horses themselves to teach me their language. No-one – including me – travels this road alone. That’s why I am excited beyond words to introduce you to the True Connection Horse Academy family of teachers and mentors. Together, we’ll help you forge a bond with your horse that’s unbreakable.
Over the course of the next few weeks, we’ll meet each of these talented horsewomen and men in greater detail, but for now, here’s a tease:
Linda j Salinas. Linda is the founder and creator of True Connection Horse Academy (TCHA). In her work as a liberty trainer, she has shared her knowledge and wisdom in multi-day clinics across the globe as well as at her beautiful farm in Gastonia, North Carolina. Linda is also a renowned animal communicator, specializing in finding lost pets. Her ongoing role in TCHA will be to create new teaching content, conduct private one-on-one coaching calls, lead webinars and master classes, and facilitate group classes online on the private Facebook page of TCHA.
Lynn Everett. Lynn has been a student of the horse for 40+ years. She’s been riding since she was 10 years old and graduated from the Potomac Horse Center in Gaithersburg, Maryland at the age of 19. With a broad range of experience with horses – from galloping thoroughbred racehorses to showing hunter/jumpers – Lynn has also studied Centered Riding, Reiki, Ortho Bionomy, and is a student of True Connection. Lynn will be conducting True Connection clinics throughout the country.
Lauren Cryan. Lauren has been involved with horses her whole life, and while she looks back with fondness on more than a decade of English riding training, her greatest joy was in the time spent caring for and just “being” with the lesson horses she grew to love. Lauren holds a BA in Art History from UVA, and an MPA in non-profit management from GWU. She’s been deeply involved in the work of rescuing animals, and is a teaching professional, specializing in early childhood and special education K-8. She runs Equi-Presence in Wilmington, NC, where she conducts one-on-one sessions with toddlers to teenagers where she helps students connect with horses to find their true self. Lauren is a student of True Connection, and will be conducting clinics for children, utilizing the therapeutic aspects of True Connection.
Emmaus Vanderbilt. Emmaus is an entrepreneur and the founder of Silver Fox Productions, a photography/videography company that produces everything from corporate videos and wedding collections to documentary films. He is devoted to the work he does at Vision Church and is pursuing bilingual studies through various programs. Emmaus is the visual storyteller for True Connection Horse Academy, in charge of all video and photography work, as well as overseeing social media strategy and development. He is part of the Vanderbilt family who runs Bit of Hope Ranch, a non-profit organization in Gastonia, NC that utilizes horses for healing.
Janice Holly Booth. Janice is an award-winning former non-profit CEO who specializes in building teams and helping people become more effective communicators. She has been involved in every aspect of the equine world, from training and teaching to competing in multiple disciplines. She ran one of the largest equestrian facilities in Western New York before moving to North Carolina. Janice is the founder and CEO of the Teambuilding & Communication KIT and has created a special program for True Connection called the Equi-KIT which helps improve the human-horse connection. Janice is also a National Geographic author and journalist. She will help True Connection students understand their communication style and how it helps or hinders their relationship with their horse (and their two-legged companions as well!)
Last but not least are the horses!
Stay tuned for more information on these exceptional teachers!
Hoping everyone is safe,
Love & Light,
Linda
