THE NON VERBAL LANGUAGE OF HORSES
Horses are masters of communication. They frequently use body language as a means of communication with one another. Body language (whether it be a flick of an ear, position in the herd, a slant of the eye, or the speed of approach to another horse) conveys a message amongst the herd. Horses may choose to vocalize and whinny for one another. They can also use telepathy which comes in many forms. It can manifest as a picture or mental image, a sensation or feeling, a thought, a sound, a smell, or a sense of knowing.
Humans also have the ability to use telepathy. Have you ever listened to a song on the radio and after it stopped playing you were still hearing the song in your mind? Have you ever had a day dream that filled your mind's eye with visual images? If not, give it a try. Close your eyes and imagine a pair of knitting needles or a ceiling fan going round and round. Can you see it in your mind? This is what I mean when I say that humans can use telepathy just as horses do. Animals often think in pictures. Improving your communication with horses requires the study of how horses communicate through body language, as well as through telepathy.
I remember one time when I was going to get one of my horses to go for a ride. When I walked outside I could clearly see that she was lying down. Not wanting to disrupt her “nap” by my physical approach, I sent her a picture of her standing up. Within seconds my horse stood up. I often use telepathy as well as body language with horses to communicate with them.
The next time you want to communicate something to your horse, try telepathy. Just as there is a physicalworld in front of our eyes, there is a hidden world that is just as real and can be used to communicate with our hoses in the same way that they communicate with each other. You’ll discover a new way of relating to your horse that will surprise you. Horses are master communicators that have much to say. They will be delighted to help you rediscover your hidden ability to communicate telepathically with them as well.
Have a wonderful rest of the week and let me know how it does with your horses.
